What is a free crop?
Unlike our platform tools, which crop to a fixed size like 1080×1080 for Instagram, this tool lets you choose the exact area of your photo to keep, at any width, height or aspect ratio you like.
Do I lose quality when I crop?
No. Cropping happens entirely in your own browser, at the original resolution of your photo, and you can export as PNG for maximum quality or JPG for a lighter file.
Can I still crop to a fixed size, like a square?
Yes. Use the aspect ratio buttons (1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 or 9:16) to lock the crop area's proportions while you resize it, or choose "Free" to resize without any restriction.
